Why?

They are unconscious about their values.
They know their values but make them negotiable all the time.

What results into:

> Lack of focus;
> Low self respect;
> Nobody really follows you.

In your younger years as an entrepreneur you are on the path of discovering who you are.

Next to the fact that you are building a business.

Building a business alone makes it already hard enough.

Knowing yourself is a long life process.

And in early years of building business you are mostly not yet in the position of power.

So:

> You make your goals negotiable.
> You make your prices negotiable.
> You make your processes negotiable.
> You make your working rhythm negotiable.
> You make your priorities negotiable.
> Etcetera…

But..

True personal power comes from making your values non-negotiable.

Even if it has consequences.

Leaders stick to their vision.

But are not blinded by it.

And know what they want and what’s important from.

What makes it easier to:

> Make clear decisions.
> Gain self respect.
> People to follow you.

So…

How clear do you have your values set out as an entrepreneur?

And how negotiable are they?

You get what you tolerate.
